A piste map is a great way to find your way around ski runs and lifts in Engelberg. Here we have gathered information to help you plan your time in the slopes.
For relaxed skiing – Brunni
Brunni is located on the sunny south side of Engelberg. The skiing here is less complicated than on Titlis but holds a certain charm. With its grandiose Alpine landscape and opportunities for woodland skiing, no one visiting Engelberg should miss out on exploring this part of the piste map. Perfect for days when you want to take it easier and focus on smooth ski runs.
There is also a lot to experience for families travelling with children. Not only the easier ski runs, there are also multiple restaurants and fun play areas. For example the Yeti park, a phenomenal place to bring children that are not confident skiers yet. The grownups can also explore their childish side, by sledding on Zigerboden. This slope is 2,5 kilometres long and a little too steep for the young ones.
For challenging pistes – Titlis
On the north side of Engelberg you will find Titlis. As this mountain gets less sun, the skiing season is longer and there is a high likelihood of snow. Something else you can be sure to find on Titlis are challenging pistes and advanced off-piste. If you are after the kind of powder skiing that Engelberg is famous for, Titlis is the right place for it.
But there is much more than off-piste on this mountain. For example cross-country tracks and winter walking tracks, but also more unusual activities such as the highest suspension bridge in Europe and a walkway inside a glacier. The suspension bridge is called Titlis Cliff walk and is located 500 metres above ground.
